Hi everybody! We'll be uploading your classes here. All compulsory activities MUST be finished by the time we meet again. We'll include extra activities and links for you to have fun!

Class 1:(16/3)
  • Reading " The Scholarship Jacket" by Marta Salinas. Read the text and underline difficult/new words for you. Check Whatsapp!
  • Practice your tenses Present Perfect or Simple Past. Try as many as you can!

Class 2: (17/3)
  • Continue working with the short story: Make a glossary of the words you have underlined. 
  • You MUST hand it in. Here you have an online dictionary  https://dictionary.cambridge.org/
  • Choose two characters and find adjectives in the text to describe them or add your own ones in order to have a clear description.
  • Song: Better Together by Jack Johnson. Check Whatsapp and solve the activity listening to the song. Once you've finished you can watch the full video!๐Ÿ‘Š

Class 3: (18/3)
  • Story writing:(100-120 words) Try to become more organized and NOT include either too many characters or events! You MUST hand this in when we see each other again or if you prefer to send it via WhatsApp in Word format. We are not accepting photos to be corrected.๐Ÿ‘Œ
  • You must start your story using :

As it's Wednesday we'll give e-mail writing a chance. Let's see what you remember from last year! Some tips before you start:
  • plan your writing beforehand in order to have a balanced e-mail.
  • edit your work after believing it's finished.
  • read the input carefully as it's important for your CONTENT mark to address all the information there.
  • Hi x, Dear x, for openings. Warm regards, regards, Love, see you soon etc are some for closing it. You MUST sign or write your name below the one you choose!
You have received an e-mail from an English friend, Sam. Read this part of the email. Write an answer in 120- 140 words.

  Can you help me with a class project? I have to write about places which are special to people. Can you tell me about a place that is special to you? Where is it? What does it look like?  It doesn’t have to be a famous place. Just explain why it is important for you!
